About the artist

Kristina Schmidt (born in 1995) is a german/russian artist and lives in Hamburg, Germany.

Since she was a child, Kristina enjoyed drawing realistic objects and had a deep passion for art. At a young age, she began taking private painting lessons. She painted a lot of realistic still-lifes but also a lot of abstract objects and used to have exhibitions in Hamburg when she was only 12 years old.

During her teenage years, she began spending more time with friends and traveling. Her connection to art, however, never faded. Eventually she found her way back to creating art in early 2021. Her artworks are abstract and emotion-based, inspired by the power of simplicity and natural elements.

Her work is now represented in medical practices, offices, showrooms and in private collections in the US, Australia, England, Sweden, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Austria and Germany.

Chris DeRubeis:

"All art should inspire and evoke emotions. Art should be something you can actually feel."
